Awesome Joe Auctions has a wide variety of vehicle categories and subcategories that could describe your vehicle. When you list your vehicle on our marketplace you will be required to add categories that your vehicle would fit into. By adding categories to your listings, our customers can easily find specific vehicles they may be looking for, bringing more buyers to you. Your vehicle may fit into more than one category, so remember to add all options that fit your listing. Below is an explanation of our categories so you can be sure to add the correct ones to your listing:
- Modified (no classics): This category pertains to any vehicle that has had modifications or tune ups after it was manufactured and is not considered a classic. Modifications can include but is not limited to: upgraded engine, body modifications, interior tune ups, etc. The subcategories for modified vehicles are listed below:
- Off Road - Any vehicle that can go off road or on-road
- Project - Vehicles that have potential because of make/model but are in need of work
- Street Modified – any street legal modified vehicles
- Track – Any vehicle that can perform on a track and the streets
- Tuner / Show Car - Customized performance and body representing the best of best
- Classic: This category is for any “distinctive” or “fine” vehicle that is 20 years or older and is worth preserving or restoring. This includes makes and models such as - Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger, Cadillac V16, Chevrolet Camaro etc. The subcategories for classic vehicles are listed below:
- Historically Unique - Any vehicle that has been historically documented
- Replica / Kit - Any vehicle that has been made to look like a different model
- Resto-Mod - Any classic vehicle with modern touches
- Survivor - Mostly original unrestored classic vehicle
- Stock/Standard: Stock or standards are any motorized vehicles that have not been modified or upgraded in any way. This can include any type of make, model, or year such as a 2018 Mercedes – Benz SL500, 2005 Jeep Wrangler, or even a 2020 Aston Martin GT4 race car (as long as it has not been tuned up or modified.) The subcategories for stock vehicles are listed below:

- Classic - “Distinctive” or “fine” vehicle that is 20 years or older
- Enthusiast – Any vehicle that has a community following, i.e., Corvette or Porsche
- Exotic - Any unusual sports vehicles such as Lamborghini or Ferrari models
- Luxury – Any vehicle that provides increased levels of comfort and performance
- Race – Any vehicle built and designed specifically for racing
- Special Purpose / Utility – Any vehicle designed for a specific purpose
